At the XV World Police & Fire Games 2013 being held at Belfast Indian Police Team has displayed a strong performance by winning 8 Gold , 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals so far.
The World Police and Fire Games are the 3rd largest International multi sport event in the world and are being held in the European continent for the first time. The games are organised by the World Police and Fire Games Federation since 1989. It is open to all working and retired Police and Fire Department personnel from all over the world. More than 7,400 athletes and sports persons from 56 countries are participating in the Belfast Games. The Indian contingent comprises 24 men and 15 women police sports persons and shall be taking part in athletics, archery, boxing, judo, swimming and wrestling events.
