Rear Admiral P. Ajit Kumar is the new chief of Southern Naval Command

Rear Admiral P. Ajit Kumar is appointed as the  Chief of Staff of the Southern Naval Command on 17-Aug-2013. 

  The present Chief of  Southern Naval Command Rear Admiral G. Ashok Kumar will take charge as Flag Officer Commanding of Maharashtra and Gujarat Area.

Rear Admiral P. Ajit Kumar has held many staff and afloat  appointments, including the post of Fleet Commander of the Eastern Fleet at Vizag and has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal.
